UBU COCU

By Alfred Jarry.  Directed by Nicole DesLauriers.

An SFU Contemporary Arts Production.

Taking over someone's house can be brutal or beautiful, it all depends on whether or not you're doing the taking.  And taking is precisely what Ubu, the sometimes king, does in Ubu Cocu.  Invading someone's home is only the beginning.  His wife is cheating on him, his kids are running amok, his conscience is nagging him and he can't get any pie for dessert!  Puppets, poop, polyhedrons and plenty of other alliterations abound in this adaptation of a classic piece of French absurdism.
